Description
 In order to overcome EDFA Amplifier's SBS limitation, to flexibly extend / increase the transmission capacity and distance of the system, Raman Amplifier is developed, which based on Stimulated Raman Scatting (SRS) effect to boost the Optic Signal, the Raman Amplifier's operating spectral bandwidth is able to be 1300 to 1600nm, utilized multi-wavelengths pumps to achieve.The RFA55 Raman amplifier, 1528 to 1563nm, +5 to +16dB, is introduced in HFC system working with EDFAs together, to optimize the transmission system performance, to improve OSNR.
